# Aura

> Ambient gradient backgrounds, free and open source.

Aura is a small, growing catalog of hand-tuned ambient, mesh and nebula
gradient backgrounds built from layered CSS gradients combined with blend
modes and blur. Every gradient can be previewed, customized live (reorder
layers, tweak blur, opacity and blend modes, toggle grain) and exported as CSS
variables or standalone SVG/PNG. The project is open source and MIT licensed.
